About Soul With Perkins Events

Taneeka Perkins is the owner of Soul With Perkins Events which was founded in 2012. After planning parties and events for her family she decided to turn her love for it into a business. In 2011 she received her certification in event and wedding planning form the U.S. Career Institute. And in March 2012 launched Soulful Expressions Events. To further her expertise she attended the University of the District of Columbia receiving her bachelor's degree in business management and her minor in hospitality. While her career spans over decades in a multitude of roles, event planning is what she has remained passionate about. Her unique skills afforded her the chance to partner with top companies like Amazon, the National Science Foundation, and Stand Together. 

To maintain a work/life balance she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and granddaughter. She loves karaoke, and live concerts.
